I think that a hippie is just a truly happy laid back kind of person who loves to eat shrooms trip on acid or smoke some weed have long hair where crazy clothes and has no care in the world of what people think about them. They are very friendly and extremely loving to anything and anyone. The enviorment is great SAVE THE GREEN! Hippies are also very big into music for example The Beatles Led Zeppelin Pink Floyd Grateful Dead The Doors Janis Joplin and so on. For hippies its all about peace. Make LOVE not WAR! This is my lifestyle and opinion there totally rad! P.E.A.C.E!!!

A true hippie doesn't want to show it off. They are the ones not begging for attention like most others. If you want to "show off" that you are a hippie, you probably aren't one.

i think hippies are about nature. and i love frolfing in nature. also i am recovering from using drugs and i can enjoy life for what it is without having a distorted perception. there are so many things to be grateful for. really.

wow if you want to know hippies watch a documentary on woodstock or dazed n confused. and yeah, they all did drugs. if you don't do drugs then why would you even call yo a hippie when that is what their culture was.

Im a 13 yr old girl and i think that hippies are probably the best thing that happend to this world, they are environment friendly and they dont harm anyone. They have extreme talent for art and they believe in real things and overall hippies are awesome friendly people. so leave em alone and they will leave you alone. thanks xo

Hippies arnet just about drugs. infact Im a hippy an me and my friends are so antidrugs its unbeliveable! aslo as a hippy I belive you should be kind to the enviroment so smoking produces CO2 so no "hippy" would do such things and drugs come from far away so it will take alot of polluting transport just for them to get high. I agree with hippies but to assosiat TRUE hippies with drugs is extreamly RUDE.. Love Faye Hookins.

alcohol is more dangerous than weed. there's a point at which you cannot get any higher, and you don't go wrecking your car or killing anybody. nor will a stoner rob a store to get high. so just chillax and do your thing and i'll do mine. myspace.com/richiekessler stoners are always accepted. check out my bad ass layout.

So far all I have seen is people saying "It's about peace and love!!!" and "It's not abotu drugs!!". Everyone has their own way but either way the thing that divides hippie from druggy is hippies are all for peace and love and druggies...druggies are druggies and that's it. so being a hippie is the way to go. but just because one smokes bud does not mean that they are a hippie. it drives me crazy when people start smoking bud and think they have to become a hippie. its all about the peace and love and having a good time. and if anyone is against cannabis then they should go choke on a d@#k.

peace and love is everything that people need but then again dont bash the people who do smoke pot, do shrooms, or acid. I'm a huge believer in karma and as long as there is moderation to everything u do life will be easy sailing my friends

The world is full of haters and it's a shame we can't all give peace a chance. If we did imagine what would become of us... is that such a bad idea? I don't think so. P.S. I love the Beatles too, ain't no shame in that. But there should be shame in people who carry on the lies long after the controversy is over.
